Providing our residents “Compassionate Care with Heart”.
I am the Administrator at St Francis Woods and have been here since June 1, 2015. I have worked in the healthcare field with seniors for more than 20 years starting as an activity assistant. I fell in love with the elderly during my stint as an activity assistant in 1993 and continued my career in healthcare as a certified nursing assistant, human resource director, social service director and much more!
I have two children that are grown and four grandchildren that are the loves of my life! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with them, reading, and being with other friends and family members.
My goal here at St. Francis Woods is to continue to make this a loving and caring home for everyone that lives here. The residents’ safety and happiness are always my priority! With that goal in mind, I try to also make this the best place for employment because a happy staff makes for happy residents.
Human Resource Director
I have been the Director of Human Resources here since August 2016. I came to St. Francis Woods seeking a change in career. I had never worked in this type of facility before, but quickly grew to love it! I enjoy coming to work because the residents put a smile on my face every day.
In my spare time, I enjoy working outside in the garden and doing upkeep in my yard. For fun, I like to shoot pool and spend time with my boyfriend and his son.
The best part about life at St. Francis Woods is the fulfillment I get from working with employees and the residents’.
Business Office Manager
I am the Business Office Manager having worked in the business office at St. Francis Woods since February 2009, and have worked in the healthcare field since 1995.
I have lived in Illinois most of my life where I have made my home and raised my three children, I also have three beautiful grandchildren and a wonderful man in my life who keeps me grounded. I enjoy going to the park, listening to music and spending time with my family.
One of my favorite parts of the job is assisting people in navigating the process of applying for public assistance. The residents and their families have enough to worry about without that added burden. With over 12 years of Medicaid billing experience it is like second nature to me.
The best part about my job though is the residents. I love helping them and seeing the smile on their faces. I only hope I bring them as much joy as they give to me every day!
I am the Activities Director at St. Francis Woods and I have been here since July 2015. Prior to accepting this position, I worked as a dietary aide. I have learned a lot through interacting with our residents and I enjoy putting a smile on their faces each and every day.
When I am not working, I like to watch movies, enjoy eating out, and spending time with family and friends. I really love my job and our residents. The residents are like family to me and make it easy for me to want to come to work every day!
I am the Marketing/Admissions Coordinator at St. Francis Woods and I have been working in this field since 2014. Prior to marketing, I worked as a Social Service Director at a nursing home, Customer Service Representative at a hospital, and I also worked as a Senior Biller for a teaching hospital in Florida. With over 17 years’ experience in the healthcare industry occupying various roles, I have the drive, passion and ability to develop and build relationships with other healthcare groups as well as with seniors and their families.
In my free time, you will find me at the gym instructing group fitness classes. My desire is to be the best version of me that I can and to inspire and motive others to do the same. I have been married for five years to my best friend. Together we enjoy taking our two energetic puppies for a walk, dining out, watching movies and traveling.
Working at St. Francis Woods is not like coming to a job everyday but more like coming home. It is my personal goal every day to find ways to make our residents know they are supported and important to this team!
I have worked here at St Francis Woods for almost 18 years. I am the CNA supervisor and scheduler. My job is to make sure that the day-to-day operation of the CNA staff runs smoothly and that the residents arrive on time to their doctor’s appointments. My experiences here have been enjoyable, challenging, and fun. I am learning so much here!
I’m friendly, quiet, and reserved. I have two AWESOME daughters. I have lived in Peoria for 33 years, graduating from both high-school and college here. Life is busy, I balance it with prayer, family time, church and shopping.
What I enjoy most about my job-OUR RESIDENTS ARE THE BEST. I’m proud of my job because we go beyond “assisting our residents with the activity of daily living”, we are a family. This is one of the reasons that St. Francis Woods is a great organization to work for and a caring home for our residents.
I am the Dietary Supervisor of St. Francis Woods, and I have been working with this team for 2 years. I have worked in the dietary field for over 15 years. My career in the kitchen started when I worked for Rosewood as a Dietary Aid then later graduated to Cook. My long-time experience in the kitchen has made me more than proficient.
I am blessed with 5 children, 3 grandchildren, and am newly married. I love spending time with my family which keeps me busy when I am not working at St Francis Woods. You can usually find me at the mall with my kids or catching the latest movie.
Cooking for our residents is like having Thanksgiving every day. I am thankful for each and every one of them and consider them part of my family as well.
I have been working for St Francis Woods for three years. I started in the kitchen as a Dietary Aid eventually moving over to Maintenance. I really enjoyed working in the kitchen however I have learned a lot working alongside my maintenance supervisor Keith. It has given me the opportunity to really focus on how things work. Plus, Keith is a great manager which makes my job that much more rewarding.
The best part about working at St Francis Woods, is the residents keep me on my toes! They truly are a joy to be around.
