I am the Administrator at St Francis Woods and have been here since June 1, 2015. I have worked in the healthcare field with seniors for more than 20 years starting as an activity assistant. I fell in love with the elderly during my stint as an activity assistant in 1993 and continued my career in healthcare as a certified nursing assistant, human resource director, social service director and much more!
I have two children that are grown and four grandchildren that are the loves of my life! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with them, reading, and being with other friends and family members.
My goal here at St. Francis Woods is to continue to make this a loving and caring home for everyone that lives here. The residents’ safety and happiness are always my priority! With that goal in mind, I try to also make this the best place for employment because a happy staff makes for happy residents.
Human Resource Director
I have been the Director of Human Resources here since August 2016. I came to St. Francis Woods seeking a change in career. I had never worked in this type of facility before, but quickly grew to love it! I enjoy coming to work because the residents put a smile on my face every day.
In my spare time, I enjoy working outside in the garden and doing upkeep in my yard. For fun, I like to shoot pool and spend time with my boyfriend and his son.
The best part about life at St. Francis Woods is the fulfillment I get from working with employees and the residents’.
Business Office Manager
I am the Business Office Manager having worked in the business office at St. Francis Woods since February 2009, and have worked in the healthcare field since 1995.
I have lived in Illinois most of my life where I have made my home and raised my three children, I also have three beautiful grandchildren and a wonderful man in my life who keeps me grounded. I enjoy going to the park, listening to music and spending time with my family.
One of my favorite parts of the job is assisting people in navigating the process of applying for public assistance. The residents and their families have enough to worry about without that added burden. With over 12 years of Medicaid billing experience it is like second nature to me.
The best part about my job though is the residents. I love helping them and seeing the smile on their faces. I only hope I bring them as much joy as they give to me every day!
I am the Activities Director at St. Francis Woods and I have been here since July 2015. Prior to accepting this position, I worked as a dietary aide. I have learned a lot through interacting with our residents and I enjoy putting a smile on their faces each and every day.
When I am not working, I like to watch movies, enjoy eating out, and spending time with family and friends. I really love my job and our residents. The residents are like family to me and make it easy for me to want to come to work every day!
Hello,my name is Keith Flatt and I am the Maintenance Director here at St. Francis Woods. I have been employed here since January 2016. I earned my HVAC degree from Illinois Central College. I am Happily married to my wife Joy and have two beautiful daughters and two grandchildren, Elyssa and Jackson who bring so much happiness to my life . My family is most important to me and I treasure them. I like to play billiards, travel, go fishing wherever I can and spend time with my grandchildren. I have had a few jobs in my career but this job is my favorite by far!
Business Office Assistant
I am the Business Office Assistant at St. Francis Woods and I have been here since 2017. Prior to accepting this position, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). After graduating from Midstate with a degree in Business Administration, I worked for five years with World Finance as a Loan Officer.
I was born and raised in Peoria where I am blessed to bring up my three children. When I am not working, I look forward to spending time with them, traveling and introducing them to new and exciting adventures.
I take great delight in my job and adore the residents. I am happy to know that my knowledge and support of my local community gives me the tools to walk the residents and family through the financial maze.
License Practical Nurse
I am a License Practical Nurse (LPN) here and I have been a nurse since 1985 and was a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) before that for 10 years. In addition, I worked for 7 years for the state of Illinois taking applications for the home health service program. Most of my career has been working with seniors in one fashion or another which I dearly love.
I have three children and seven grandchildren that keep me busy most of the time. In my spare time, you will find me curled up with a good book or reading with my grandchildren as well as spending quality time with other members of my family.
The most rewarding part about working at St. Francis Woods is the time I get to spend helping the residents maintain their independence as long as possible.
Service Plan Coordinator
I am the Service Plan Coordinator at St. Francis Woods and I have been here since 2016. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Working with seniors is my passion, I have been a nurse since 1998 and before that I was a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
I have three wonderful children and two precious grandchildren. I spend as much quality time with my family as possible when I am not working. I also have a dog named Tank, who is my little man. Whoever said that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, never owned a dog.
I love working at St. Francis Woods because it really is like one big happy family.
I am the Marketing/Admissions Coordinator at St. Francis Woods and I have been working in this field since 2014. Prior to marketing, I worked as a Social Service Director at a nursing home, Customer Service Representative at a hospital, and I also worked as a Senior Biller for a teaching hospital in Florida. With over 17 years’ experience in the healthcare industry occupying various roles, I have the drive, passion and ability to develop and build relationships with other healthcare groups as well as with seniors and their families.
In my free time, you will find me at the gym instructing group fitness classes. My desire is to be the best version of me that I can and to inspire and motive others to do the same. I have been married for five years to my best friend. Together we enjoy taking our two energetic puppies for a walk, dining out, watching movies and traveling.
Working at St. Francis Woods is not like coming to a job everyday but more like coming home. It is my personal goal every day to find ways to make our residents know they are supported and important to this team!
I have worked here at St Francis Woods for almost 18 years. I am the CNA supervisor and scheduler. My job is to make sure that the day-to-day operation of the CNA staff runs smoothly and that the residents arrive on time to their doctor’s appointments. My experiences here have been enjoyable, challenging, and fun. I am learning so much here!
I’m friendly, quiet, and reserved. I have two AWESOME daughters. I have lived in Peoria for 33 years, graduating from both high-school and college here. Life is busy, I balance it with prayer, family time, church and shopping.
What I enjoy most about my job-OUR RESIDENTS ARE THE BEST. I’m proud of my job because we go beyond “assisting our residents with the activity of daily living”, we are a family. This is one of the reasons that St. Francis Woods is a great organization to work for and a caring home for our residents.
I am the Dietary Supervisor of St. Francis Woods, and I have been working with this team for 2 years. I have worked in the dietary field for over 15 years. My career in the kitchen started when I worked for Rosewood as a Dietary Aid then later graduated to Cook. My long-time experience in the kitchen has made me more than proficient.
I am blessed with 5 children, 3 grandchildren, and am newly married. I love spending time with my family which keeps me busy when I am not working at St Francis Woods. You can usually find me at the mall with my kids or catching the latest movie.
Cooking for our residents is like having Thanksgiving every day. I am thankful for each and every one of them and consider them part of my family as well.
I have been working for St Francis Woods for three years. I started in the kitchen as a Dietary Aid eventually moving over to Maintenance. I really enjoyed working in the kitchen however I have learned a lot working alongside my maintenance supervisor Keith. It has given me the opportunity to really focus on how things work. Plus, Keith is a great manager which makes my job that much more rewarding.
The best part about working at St Francis Woods, is the residents keep me on my toes! They truly are a joy to be around.
I have worked for St Francis Woods for a year and a half wearing many hats. Some of my duties consist of transporting residents to doctor appointments, activities/outings, and so much more, part-time maintenance and part-time housekeeping. I grew up in Peoria Heights and graduated in 1998. I met my wife that summer and we were married in 2007.
I have two children. My daughter Elyssa, who also has a love for seniors, works in the kitchen at St. Francis Woods as a dietary aide. My son, Jackson, loves to play baseball. On my off time, I keep myself busy watching as well as coaching my son through the summer and fall seasons. I also enjoy fishing, hunting, sports and family time which is very important to me.
The best part about working for St Francis Woods is that I have an opportunity to meet all kinds of different people.
